Questions

Do I need a phone to use it?

For SOS, no. The device sends SOS from its own keys and shows rescue progress on its screen. For regular messages and GEROS, use the app or the hotspot page on your phone.

Do I need to install the app?

No. Join the keliyes Wi-Fi and a local web page opens with messages, SOS and GEROS. The app gives the same functions in a dedicated interface.

What happens after I send SOS?

GEROS takes the request and coordinates your emergency contacts, local rescue organisations and local police. You see four stages: the team agrees to help, is ready to depart, is on the way, and the rescue is complete.

How is a message counted?

One message is up to 200 bytes of text. Each new device includes 20 free messages valid for 1 year. Plans add more.

Where does satellite messaging work?

In the 43 countries on the coverage page. Check your destination before you go.

Which version should I choose?

Choose by the lowest temperature you expect. Standard works from -10℃ to 45℃. Ultra-low temperature works from -40℃ to 80℃. Everything else is the same.
